Þórufoss waterfall

Þórufoss is an 18 meter high waterfall east of Lake Þingvallavatn.
The waterfall is part of the 25 km long river Laxá í Kjós, which is known for its salmon population. This river flows from Lake Þingvallavatn to Hvalfjörður.
Þórufoss is located directly on road 48. The waterfall is easily accessible by footpath.
