Drangsnes hot tubs

The distance between the Gvendarlaug pools and the Drangsnes hot baths is only 22 kilometers. Perhaps the location is not as picturesque as it appears in many photos. In this hot spring, there are 3 hot tubs, each with a different temperature, allowing you to pick the one that is most suitable for you. If the pool’s temperature is uncomfortable for you, you can simply switch to a warmer or colder hot tub.

Although the Drangsnes settlement is directly behind you and these three hot tubs are right close to the “main” road that circles the entire fjord, there are restrooms and tiny change areas here.

While there are no set opening times and you can take a bath there pretty much whenever you like, there is maintenance every Monday from 9:30 to 10:30.

Although admission is free, you may support the locals who maintain and clean the hot tubs, change rooms, and restrooms by making a donation to the box adjacent to the changing area.
